Well, anon, that’s a good question. I’ve had an excellent weekend full of friends, but tonight sort of yes. Not lonely in a sad, weepy way. Just lonely in the way that I would enjoy some company. Mostly, I’m just tired. How about you, anon?

Oh, anon. Though this question might have had good and harmless intentions, location-related questions will forever possess an air of creepiness. 

Not going into specifics, I’m from the good ole south.

6. What am I excited for? (good one, anon!)

Ahhh, man. I’m so excited for so many things.

• WAKARUSA. My best friend and I are going to this kick-ass music festival in the Ozarks for four days, and I seriously cannot wait. There’s going to excellent music constantly, a waterfall, and tons of new people to meet. I can’t even do it justice with my description. It’s going to be amazing.
• COLLEGE! I’m done with high school, and I’m going to a beautiful college with which I’m in love. It’s also sort of terrifying, but mostly so ridiculously exciting in an all encompassing sort of way. I’m excited to buy things for my dorm, meet my roommate, hopefully live in the dorm I chose, and make an entirely new set of friends. 
• CAYMAN. My older sister is a dive master in the Cayman Islands. She’s lived there for about a year now, and lived in South Korea/Costa Rica/Honduras/Virginia before that. So, easy to say, I haven’t seen her in a very very very long time. I miss her like crazy, and she’s going to show me all sorts of cool island things while we’re there.

Really? I did not know that! That sounds like a much-needed pick me up. I usually opt for hot showers or baths. I think thinking about Sherlock might just put me in even more of a slump though. Thank you so much, kind anon. Really, it means a lot. 

As cliche as it may seem, my dream is to travel with someone who loves all of the things that I do, and to see amazing things, make music, sleep under the stars, and laugh constantly with them.

My actual dreams are about super powers, The Doctor, magic, and ridiculous things.

14. If I am outside, I am most likely doing cartwheels, swinging, playing frisbee, exploring, taking pictures, or doing some sort of water-related activity. 

34. Now, this is just difficult. Most attractive male singer? I’m probably forgetting some stunningly attractive men, but I’ve got it pretty bad for Ben Folds, Eric Hutchinson, Arthur Darvill, and James Marsters. 

35. To me, the meaning of life is learning and exploration. At least, that is what I hope to accomplish with my life. We just have so much to explore, that I don’t think there’s any other explanation.

Although I did have to pop my head into the other room and ask my mom if she messaged me on my blog, this is the sweetest thing. My mom quotes this all the time. Thank you, lovely anon. <3

Listen to me: that is not true. Romance, love, acceptance, those are all things that come to everyone. It just takes time. Believe me when I say, although I do not know you, I can bet that you are not ugly or useless, inside or out. Drinking, and cutting, those things won’t help you. They won’t make things better, though they might seem like they might for a moment. If you want to, and I would love if you did, you can come off of anon and we can talk privately.

There is always hope. There is always a brighter day, it’s just hard to realize or remember that when things seem so dark.

As for friends, and family, they love you very much, and I doubt you ever disappoint them. As Stephen Fry said “It’s sometimes quite galling to be reminded how much people love you when you don’t love yourself that much.”
